Do you know what a dork dot is? It is not meant to be offensive. It just points out the new missionaries at the MTC. As we say good bye to our parents and walk through the doors (OK I left on my mission in 1994, so it may have changed) a kind Senior Sister puts a little orange circle sticker on your Mission Tag. This is your dork dot. It lets all the other missionaries at the MTC know that you are new and have no clue what is going on.
So I still need a dork dot. Because LDSscrap is new to clubs, and we are excited to start this one. We have a set idea of what we want to do to help you and how to proceed. But just like those new missionaries we may need a little guidance...from you. Let us know what you need to help scrapbook the missionary album you are working on. Maybe you need some lingo translations for such terms as dork dots, hump day, Zone and District Conference. We have already had requests for more Sister specific pages (we relate). So please let us know!
We look forward to this journey together! (And maybe I will finally get my mission scrapbook done, and my husbands, my moms, my grandparents....and great grandparents in the picture.)
